Keynote Session: Thinking outside the box

Thought leaders address the big issues for society and the Posts

The Director General of the UPU, Edouard Dayan, opens the plenary session by giving his perspective on the impact of fundamental technology change on posts. A noted futurist thinker then gives us his interpretation of how society will evolve over the next decade. How are the changes in the way we communicate (such as social networking and collective working) going to affect posts?  What is the impact of the shifting balance of power (large to small; government to citizen; supplier to consumer)? The capabilities of the internet are continually evolving, often exponentially. We learn how developments such as self-defining data and spatial mapping create a more flexible, useable and interactive enterprise model for organisations
