New Realities... New Challenges
Two days of critical debate, high-level discussion and prime networking
opportunities for all sections of the industry will be on the agenda at the
2006 World Mail & Express European Conference. Senior speakers, delegates
and exhibitors from throughout the region will gather in the splendid
surroundings of the Rive Gauche Saint Jacques Hotel in the beautiful French capital. For
the first time since 2000, the most important event in the European mail
industry this year will be hosted by national postal service La Poste.

Outside the main conference hall, a seminar
focussed on technology will add to
the attractions for the expected record number of visitors. The Paris
event will also offer an adjoining display area where suppliers and
operators can exhibit their latest products and services, as well as a
number of more relaxed social events. The annual World Mail Awards gala
dinner will take place on the first evening, 10 May, when the
industry's top global performers will be rewarded for their excellence,
innovation and best practice in ten categories. |

The internationally-recognised World Mail &
Express series of conferences has been held around the world since 1988
and in recent years has operated regionally, with events also focused on
Asia Pacific, the Americas, Middle East and Africa as well as Europe. It
provides a unique market place for the public and private sectors to meet
and discuss the broader industry issues, seek partners and listen to
customers. After the huge success of the 2005 summit in Brussels, the
enticing promise of Paris in the springtime will bring the key
decision-makers and stakeholders in European mail together to form
another unmissable event.
