PosTech 2008 was the second global conference focussing on the challenges and opportunities presented by technology over the coming years.
Overview
This was a unique opportunity to understand the key challenges for the Postal Industry with some of the sectors thought leaders, key suppliers, legislators and postal operators.
Technology is now fundamental to the infrastructure of our lives and particularly the way we communicate. This is significant for the Postal Industry in its role as part of the national and global communications infrastructure, as it impacts all aspects from the customer right through to the operation and delivery of the services.
The postal landscape is continually changing to respond to the threats and opportunities presented by technology, however, the opportunity to understand and share best practice is seldom available.

The 2nd global postal conference focussed on next generation technology
World-class technology companies to meet leading postal authorities planning future infrastructure
Technology is now fundamental to all of our lives and particularly the way we communicate. There can be few other industries, where the significance is so key, than for the Postal industry. Surprisingly, despite employing more than 5 million people and accounting for an average of 2% of GDP as part of the national and global communications infrastructure, most postal authorities have not historically invested heavily in technology.
