The World Mail & Express Americas conference and exhibition 2011 took place in Mexico City, 7 – 9 February.
Overview
In 2012 the Americas event moves back to Miami and planning is underway to make this another valuable occasion for the post and parcel industry.
With the poignant title of, “Staying relevant in a more complex world: responding to diverse customer needs”, the audience of representatives from 18 different countries were honoured by 25 world-renowned speakers representing national and private postal operators, parcel carriers, consultancies, technology companies and industry suppliers from around the globe.
The conference saw two days of practical guidance and fascinating discussion under the sub-titles of:-
- Staying relevant: meeting the challenge
- Outside-in perspectives on customer diversity
- Competitive responses to diverse customer needs
- Areas of opportunity
- A diverse future
The event closed with a lively review and open forum debate and the feedback collected from attendees was extremely positive with all respondents stating that the event had met with the majority of their objectives.
