Salary Survey of UK Parcels Operators

The study takes the form of a benchmarking exercise, which enables each subscriber’s management to compare its salary/basic pay, hours worked and hourly rate, overtime, bonus payments, other benefits and allowances paid to staff against those of major competitors in the industry. The survey is unique in that its focus is entirely on the UK express parcels carriers sector.

Data is collected from subscribing express parcels carriers to provide comparable data for 26 job functions in 6 main areas as follows:

A median, lower and upper quartile is shown for the industry total in each job category giving a very detailed picture of the remuneration structure of the express industry based on a sample of the industry’s most important carriers.

First published in 2003, the survey has been run in conjunction with participating UK express carriers on an annual basis.
