Customers and operators gear up for UK Express Delivery Conference

With less than two weeks to go before this year's UK Express Delivery conference, senior executives from both the customer and operator sides of the industry are preparing for what promises to be a captivating couple of days.

The focus at the premier annual document, parcels and pallet delivery event, returning for the second year to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on 3-4 July, will be on Growth Through More Effective Delivery. A strong line-up of some of the most influential names in the business will address the key issues affecting carriers' responses to the needs of their customers. Among the speakers appearing will be leading representatives from companies such as RS Components, Amtrak, Parcelnet and Mothercare Direct – the complete programme, along with delegate registration forms, can be found at www.triangle.eu.com/delivery.

Each year, the UK Express Delivery Conference presents the best chance for those in this competitive market to determine what's on offer: the services available, the issues at stake, the opportunities presented, the latest technologies and how these can all combine to generate growth for their businesses in the next 12 months. Premium sponsors for the 2006 event include Business Post, CitySprint, Home Delivery Network and Parcelforce, and the leading executives from these companies will join others on the platform for the CEO's Any Questions session, always a conference highlight, on the final afternoon.

James Roper, Chief Executive of the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG), recently said ''all retailers should attend the UK Express Delivery Conference in order to understand how best to invest in home delivery choice and convenience for their customers.'' With free places available for any major UK express user, two days spent at this event could prove a small price to pay for e-retailers, shippers and merchants in this critical area of their business. To claim a complimentary place, express service users should email conference organisers Triangle via paul.trott@triangle.eu.com.

Whether customer, operator or supplier, anyone wishing to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to meet, discuss business and strengthen relationships on behalf of their organisation is encouraged to register for the event online at www.triangle.eu.com/delivery, or call the events team today at Triangle on 0870 950 7900.
