World Mail Awards 2004 - Shortlists announced

Once again the judges of the World Mail Awards have risen to the challenge of narrowing down well over 100 entries to just 21 finalist organisations.

The independent judges will meet on the afternoon of the awards ceremony, on 25th May, to make their final deliberations and decide a winner for each of the 10 awards. The Gala Dinner will take place in the Estrel Hotel in Berlin and marks the eve of the World Mail & Express Europe Conference and Exhibition. Television presenter Kristiane Backer will present the awards, along with a senior executive from each of the sponsoring companies.

This year’s categories and shortlists are:

The remaining award, Industry Leadership, (sponsored by Pitney Bowes) is judged using different criteria and no shortlist will be issued. The winner will be announced at the ceremony.

Notes for Editors:

• This is the 5th World Mail Awards and is an annual programme
• Next year’s ceremony will be on 11th May at the Sheraton Hotel in Brussels
• World Mail & Express (WMX) events have been running since 1988. They are organised by Triangle Management Services, part of Triangle Management Services, based in the UK
