World Mail Awards - Short lists announced

After a record level of applicants across the 9 categories for this year’s World Mail Awards, the 4th in the series organised by Triangle Management Services, the judges have narrowed the field to three or four entries for each award.

The challenge faced by the judges this year was made greater than ever, not only by the large number of entrants but also the high standards presented. A global panel of experts, whose deliberations are independent of the organisers and sponsors, judges each award.

The judges will determine the winner only hours before the big night, the Awards presentation evening, on 13 May at the Sheraton Roma, Rome.

The Awards take place on the evening before the World Mail & Express Europe conference and exhibition at the same venue, providing added focus to the event..  It is expected that around 300 delegates will be attending the conference and exhibition in Rome over the 13, 14 & 15 May and around 200 participants at the Awards dinner.

Celebrity recognition

The global awards evening is designed to highlight, encourage, and celebrate best practice within the mail industry. In recognition of the very best organisations and people around the world, Triangle have engaged a top European presenter, Italian TV celebrity, Mrs Milly Carlucci, to present the awards at a black tie gala dinner held in the Sheraton Roma hotel.

Limited places at the dinner

Because places are limited, delegates or industry members who would like to attend the Awards Presentation dinner are advised to book as soon as possible since it is likely to be fully subscribed. Seats or tables can be booked at www.mailawards.com or by faxing +44 (0) 8709 507910.
