Top Mail & Express industry leaders return to Florida for key summit

Following a successful 2004 event, the third World Mail & Express Americas Conference will be returning to the Sheraton Bal Harbour, Miami, on the 5th and 6th December 2005.

The World Mail & Express series of conferences has been held around the world since 1988 and since 2001 has operated regionally, with events also focused on Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa. The Americas conference and exhibition, which takes in Latin America and the Caribbean as well as North America, provides a unique market place for the public and private sectors to meet and discuss the broader industry issues, seek partners and listen to customers.

Top-level speakers from within the region and around the globe will be sharing their views on the vital factors those of us in the industry will need to consider for success in the year ahead. As national post offices throughout the Americas reach critical stages in their development, the conference will look at differing views of the changing marketplace, assess how to overcome the key hurdles and provide an insight into best practice policies. As in previous years, each delegate will receive simultaneous Spanish and English translations of every presentation.

Outside the main conference hall, the event will also offer an adjoining display area where suppliers and operators will exhibit their latest products and services, a networking cocktail party on the first evening, shopping trips for spouses to the best local attractions and a poolside party in the Sheraton Bal Harbour’s fabulous gardens.

Strategies for Success

Organisers Triangle Management Services welcome suggestions for topics for presentation and debate under the Strategies for Success theme, and would like to hear from potential speakers able to assess the latest challenges in the region. Questions to be addressed include:

How can we grow the market?
Are IT, direct marketing and e-commerce the way forward?
Is Express leading innovation?
What is the best practice so far?
Alliances – are they working?
What are the best investment options for the future?

Anyone interested in speaking on these or related topics should contact Triangle.

There are also opportunities for sponsorship and display stands in the discrete exhibition area alongside the conference. More details on exhibiting and sponsorship are available from Nigel Ashton at nigel.ashton@triangle.eu.com.

Alternatively, please call Triangle on +44 (0)870 950 7900, or see details on our website www.triangle.eu.com.
