Sponsors line up to reward the UK mail market as it prepares for competition

Following the huge success of these awards in 2004, Triangle Management Services and its sponsoring partners are proud to announce that this year's UK Mail Awards ceremony will be held on 1 November at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.

Taking place just a couple of months before the domestic market is fully open to competition, the awards programme will recognise and reward excellence and achievements throughout the domestic mail industry. The celebrated writer, broadcaster and entrepreneur Frances Edmonds, recently voted Britain's top female after-dinner speaker, will make the presentations on the night. Awards will be made in the following categories:

  • Database Management

  • Domestic Marketing Campaign

  • Innovation

  • International Marketing Campaign

  • Mail Centre of the Year

  • Technology

These awards, originally launched as a spin-off to the hugely successful World Mail Awards, are the most prestigious of their kind in the UK and will be sponsored by some of the biggest names in the mailing industry, including Royal Mail, DHL Global Mail, TNT Mail, AMP Citipost and UK Mail. Nominations will open next month, on 1 August, after which date applicants will have six weeks to submit entries. The final application date is 12 September, with shortlisted entries to be announced at the end of September. A panel of independent experts from the industry will judge each award, and the winners will be announced at the special gala dinner on Tuesday 1 November. The presentation ceremony will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington High Street, London, in front of an audience of mailing operators, technology and service providers and agencies.
