Shortlists for the 2005 UK Mail Awards announced

After a record level of entries from all parts of the mailing industry, the judges for the 2005 UK Mail Awards have just announced those who have made the shortlist for each category.

This annual awards programme recognises and rewards excellence and achievement across the industry and entries were open to any UK postal operator, service provider or direct mail agency.

The shortlisted entries for the 2005 Awards are as follows:

CUSTOMER SERVICE - sponsored by CMS Network
• DQM Group for its Royal Mail Business Changes Fileฎ

• WDMP for its Post-purchase welcome pack for Carphone Warehouse

The award for the Mail Centre of the Year, sponsored by UK Mail, is judged separately, and the shortlist will be announced for this award at a later date.

The judges will meet at the end of October to select the winning entry in each category, before the UK Mail Awards Gala Dinner on Tuesday 1st November at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington High Street, London. The winners will be announced and trophies presented by the renowned writer and broadcaster Frances Edmonds, recently voted Britain's top female after-dinner speaker.
