Changes on the way for new improved UK Express Delivery event |
||
|
UK Express Delivery Conference organisers Triangle have put in place some important changes for the 2007 event, aimed at enabling the B2B and B2C delivery industry's annual gathering to continue the impressive development of its first three years. With Conference Director Darren Whitehead recruited from Reed Exhibitions specifically to develop the UKEDC series, the conference will be switching to London's Olympia for its 4th annual event on 3 & 4 July. As Darren points out, ''This move to Olympia will enable us to deliver more users of carrier services as well as to raise the profile of the whole event. This will have knock-on benefits to our sponsors, our delegates and all those in the express delivery and fulfilment industry taking part.'' In addition, a new and more user-friendly format has been designed to allow delegates to tailor the sessions, speeches and seminars they attend. Familiar features such as the one-to-one customer-carrier partnership meetings and the suppliers showcase area will continue as all the big names in the industry gather for their annual summit. The event will also include numerous facilitated networking opportunities, including an evening cocktail party at the 4-star Copthorne Tara Hotel just off Kensington High Street. The only UK conference dedicated to business growth via the impact of successful delivery and fulfilment, the 2007 convention will continue to be a must-attend event for anyone involved in pallets, parcels and courier delivery from any point along the business spectrum. Chairmen, CEO's and senior directors from all the major operators in this marketplace will have the opportunity to discuss partnerships and future business development with sales, marketing and operations function heads from online and high street retailers, shippers and other end-users. Darren Whitehead again: ''Next summer's Conference will deliver on a number of levels: new business will be generated, brand awareness for operators and suppliers will be heightened, and networking opportunities will be maximised. New products and services will be displayed and discussed, while all participants will benefit from gaining the business critical information available from such an event featuring all the industry's major players under one roof.''
