The rich
cultural city of Budapest has been announced as the venue for the 29th
World Mail & Express Conference. It will be the first time the world
leading event has visited this part of central Europe.
Hosted by the Hungarian Post, Magyar Posta, the two-day conference and
exhibition will be taking place on the 20-21 May 2008 at the Corinthia
Grand Hotel, Budapest. A year on from the successful London based event,
hundreds of top executives from the Mail and Express industries will be
gathering once more in Budapest to discuss the latest developments in
their industry.
As the countdown continues for EU proposals of unrestricted competition
in Europe, the gathering of the world’s top postal organisations will
provide the platform for operators to publicly air their agendas, their
concerns and listen to solutions from those who have the experience.
In addition to two days of high-level debate and discussion for all
sections of the industry, there will be a postal retail network seminar
and other networking opportunities for the delegates. The World Mail
Awards black tie dinner will take place on the eve of the event and on
the first evening there will be an informal occasion hosted by Magyar
Posta.
The World Mail & Express conference, organised by Triangle, promises to
be an illuminating few days; including a high level keynote programme, a
retail networks seminar, exhibition display area, networking dinner and
the annual World Mail Awards gala dinner presentations.
World Postal Retail Networks seminar – the second European event
On 19 May, the World Postal Retail Networks Seminar will bring together
Post Offices from all over the world to share information, see the
latest innovation and transformation projects being successfully
implemented by Post Offices in the case studies. An impressive list of
international speakers will provide valuable insights and knowledge for
senior executives attending.
World Mail Awards – the 9th set of global accolades
On the evening prior to the World Mail & Express Conference in Budapest,
the international mail industry's premier awards will be presented at a
black-tie Gala Dinner for around 300 of the most senior people in our

Throughout the three days, an display exhibition area will feature a
