After a record number of applications received from all over the world
across 12 categories, it was yet again a difficult assignment for judges
to come to a decision on a final shortlist for the 2008 World Mail
Awards. The short list has resulted in a total of 34 finalists from 18
countries reflecting an inspiring range of product and service
offerings.
Judges will meet on the afternoon of 19 May, hours before announcing the
winners later that evening at the annual black tie gala dinner. The
Awards presentation and ceremony will take place at the Corinthia Grand
Hotel Royal, Budapest on the eve of the World Mail & Express Europe
Conference. Hungarian celebrity, Zsuzsanna Demcsák will present the
awards on the night, along with a senior executive from each of the
sponsoring companies.
