The World Mail & Express (WMX) Asia Conference is being held at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong, Shanghai, China on Monday 09 to Wednesday 11 October 2017. We’re issuing an ‘official call for papers’ for expert speakers to share their knowledge on a variety of topics related to the mail and express industry.

WMX Asia is one of the most influential and inspiring post and parcel conferences in Asia, typically attracting over 150 senior mail and express executives. This year we’re looking for speakers who can contribute to the following areas of discussion:

RESPONDING TO THE ASIAN MARKET

Topics might include what’s happening in smaller, less developed countries, practical issues such as customs, duties and taxes, developments in the wider regional and global logistics chains etc.

ADAPTING FOR THE CHINESE MARKET

Topics might include ways to make dealing with China profitable and beneficial, understanding of how the local networks function and how to collaborate with these. What opportunities are there nationally, regionally and internationally?

TRANSFORMING THE DELIVERY LANDSCAPE

Topics might include urban challenges (parcel lockers, zoning, delivery on demand), rural challenges (extended networks, retail challenges), new technologies (drones, autonomy) and sustainability.

If you have expertise in any of these areas, then we would love to hear from you! And you don’t have to be an operator within mail and express, we welcome perspectives from all manner of industries that intersect our own.
