Triangle News

Food delivery is becoming one of the fastest growing sectors in logistics. The demand for home deliveries of ready-to-eat food grew 10 times faster than for dining out last year and online grocery retailing in the UK forecasts sales to reach £11.1 billion for 2017.

But delivering perishable items comes with numerous legal and technical obstacles to overcome. That’s why the experts at Post&Parcel have created a brand new seminar to give you the strategies and tactics to meet the challenge of delivering food and perishable goods to hungry customers.

Post&Parcel Live: The Food Delivery Seminar is a unique one-day event that will bring together some of the biggest names in food delivery. With the likes of Asda, Ocado, Marks & Spencer and Waitrose among the line-up, if you’re at all interested in exploring food delivery then you can’t afford to miss it.

To give you a flavour of things to come, we recently caught up with Fred Lill of Lil Packaging, one of our sponsors who will be sharing his packaging expertise with you in January. Read his interview on Post&Parcel to get his thoughts on the role of packaging in the food delivery sector, future packaging technologies and more.

What’s more, all delegates at The Food Delivery Seminar will receive a complimentary white paper featuring useful insights and advice from Fred and the rest of our speakers and panellists.

The Food Delivery Seminar will take place at The Hallam Conference Centre in London on January 25th. Spaces are very limited as this is an intimate event designed to encourage debate and discussion.

More details can be found on the seminar website but if you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out to a member of the team on +44 (0)1628 642910 or email events@triangle.eu.com.
