UPS has opened a new facility in Mauguio-Carnon, near Montpellier.

FedEx feeder planes

FedEx Express has agreed to buy 50 Cessna SkyCourier 408 aircraft from Textron Aviation, with options to purchase up to 50 additional aircraft.


Tesla trucks

DHL Supply Chain has placed an order for ten Tesla Electric Class 8 Semi Trucks.

Power trailers

UPS has started trials using bikes and power-assisted trailers to deliver parcels in London.

Greening London

The Great London Authority has announced five projects that will benefit from the new £1m Major’s Air Quality Business Fund. They include initiatives in Islington for parcel lockers and a shared electric vehicle for deliveries; and a “micro-consolidation” scheme for parcel deliveries in Southwark.
