We are very pleased to announce that the Winter 2020 edition of the Mail & Express Review Magazine is available now.
As stories of Christmas peak preparations fill my inbox, I can’t quite believe that 2020 is drawing to a close after what can only be described as a life-changing year.
We chose to finish the year with a rainbow on the front cover of MER – a universal symbol of positivity and unity, a reminder of the clean air we caught a glimpse of during lockdown and a nod to the work our sector is doing to switch to more sustainable transport as e-commerce volumes continue to ramp up.
For the last 8 months, life as we knew it has been on hold and while there is still so much uncertainty for everyone, for many companies this year has also provided an opportunity to take stock, assess what can be done better and make plans.Over the last few months dealing with and adapting to COVID-19 has become less of a new phenomenon and more a way of life. Today the industry is looking determinedly forward.
Many are investing in infrastructure to cope with the constantly soaring demand for e-commerce created by the pandemic, others are focusing on how to be more customer friendly (introducing more contactless and convenient options), while others are pushing forward on their sustainability plans, responding to consumers increased environmental awareness. Change is most definitely afoot.
