Triangle Management Services, the leading international mail and express research consultancy, has just published its 2006 Express Distribution Survey for Saudi Arabia. Following 300 recent face-to-face, in-depth interviews with shippers in the Kingdom, this comprehensive report of attitudes, expectations and opinions is now available.

Leading mail and express research consultancy Triangle Management Services has just published the express carrier industry’s annual benchmarking study, the UK Domestic B2B Parcels Distribution Survey. Based on 300 interviews with shippers despatching 100+ parcels a month, this year’s 180-page report reveals a number of notable movements in shippers’ perceptions of the service and quality offered by their carriers.

Last week’s UK Express Delivery Conference saw more of the industry’s users meeting with more carriers and discussing more delivery-related issues than any previous event. More than 20% of delegates to this, the third annual UK Express Delivery event, were retailers or e-tailers, with major businesses such as Argos, B&Q, Boden, Dell, Lands End, Redcats and Tesco represented.

The annual World Mail & Express (WMX) Americas conference will be held, for the first time, in South America later this year. Senior mail and express executives from around the globe will meet with their Latin American counterparts in Rio de Janeiro on 4-5 December.

With less than two weeks to go before this year’s UK Express Delivery conference, senior executives from both the customer and operator sides of the industry are preparing for what promises to be a captivating couple of days.

The 2006 UK Mail Awards will be presented on Tuesday 31 October at the industry’s annual Gala Dinner in London. The UK Mail Awards are now in their third year and firmly established as the UK postal industry’s most prestigious recognition of excellence. This year’s honours will be given out by BBC Business presenter Declan Curry at the end of the evening’s entertainment in the Champagne Suite of the Novotel London West in Hammersmith.

This year’s Mail Show will be held on 31 October and 1 November at the Novotel London West Hotel & Convention Centre in Hammersmith.
